Mario Dedivanovic Master Class.

For those who keep up to date with me via Instagram know that in May, I was honoured to meet and view Mario Dedivanovic in action! It was a very last minute decision seeing Mario and his amazing work. I remember my friend ringing me first thing in the morning and telling me about the tickets and without even thinking I said "YASS, BOOK THEM"! For those who are not familiar with him, he is the ultimate makeup king of our time, he is the magic behind the flawless Kim Kardashian look!! This post has been ever so delayed due to an agreement made when attending the class but I'm sharing "my experience of the makeup class" with you guys and how amazing his work is!

The class took place in London and no photography or videography was allowed to take place while he commenced, luckily enough for us we got front row seats. However you were allowed to ask questions about his work and the products he was using at any time during the class (which was so helpful!).  He firstly asked the audience what look they wanted to see and near enough everyone picked the catwalk glam. The workshop was based on this one look and he broke down EVERYTHING!

Firstly he spoke about skin and he couldn't enhance how important it is to keep the skin looking immaculate as this was the canvas. Moisturising was his key element, he refrained from primers and said if the skin is moisturised well then there is no need to waste money on extra products, as it is all there for marketing purposes.  He normally uses Crem da la mer on Kim but his go to would be the Kiels moisturiser. The products he uses are ranged from high brands and low brands as he explains that different products do different jobs. He then applied a cream foundation as he feels these work better than liquids (that too on dry to combination skin) and then went on to do the eyes. The eye makeup took at least 2 hours along with tons of products to create that perfect look! He then went onto the brows and then onto the under eye! He did a lot of layering with powders as setting the work is what achieves that beautiful look! Afterwards he used a powder bronzer to sculpt the cheekbones and a highlighter to enhance them. Both lipsticks and gloss were used on the lips and then it was all set with Mac Fix Plus.

At the end of the class he did a Q & A to help other makeup artists in the industry and also elaborated on his struggle in the industry and how he made it to where he is now. He was so humble and genuine and gave his honest answers and tried to give as much information as he could. Mario explained how Kevyn Aucoin was one of his idols and the looks he mastered is what inspired him. A lot of the audience questioned him about certain looks and techniques such as baking, contouring and highlighting but he stated that he did not use these certain techniques but in fact uses different methods. On the other hand many people have stated that in other workshops he has previously used different techniques and methods. To me personally I feel that Mario as a makeup artist may use different techniques for different looks but may also not want to tell the world all of the tricks up his sleeve as its the closest thing to magic! (Well near enough).  On the contrary some of the products and tips may not always work the way we want them to due to the climate we have here compared to the climate he normally works with, as this has a major affect on our skin!

The Goody Bag

This was probably the most generous goody bags I have come across so far! It was filled with amazing products which are hard for us to get our hands on in the UK.

It contained the Anastasia Beverly hills Contour kit, Brow pro pallet, Brow Gel, Brow Wiz & three different lip glosses! It also had Huda Beauty nails, lashes and the glue! There was a mac lipstick along with a mascara, a beauty blender, a tarte mascara, a giselle eyeshadow, tatcha sheets, a karuna skin mask & magic pads. Mario gave a signature pad and a matching mirror all in a cute little tote.

This was just a breakdown of the experience and I didn't want to babble on too much but I hope you guys enjoyed it & if anyone is wondering whether they want to see him or not then they should definitely do so!

The Simple Attire.

With Spring coming I always find it so hard what to put on something because the sun is always deceiving, it will be warm for an hour then it decreases so quickly! So heres a simple look that can be worn morning, day or night by adding a few garments! You can never have too many white shirts and I have been trying to find the perfect oversized boyfriend shirt which I brought from H & M and is a perfect length. The wax jeans are from Topshop and I'm loving lime accessories right now so I thought i'd wear a simple lime clutch to compliment the outfit, which I picked out in the sale. The necklace was a gift and I'm not too sure where it was from but any chunky statement necklace will go. To add to this simple look I added a statement necklace and a pair of So Kate Louboutin's.

H&M Shirt - £7.99
Top Shop Wax Jeans - £39.99
So Kate Louboutins -£425.00
Warehouse Clutch - £8
Statement Necklace - (Was gifted)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post xx

Nars Luminous Weightless Foundation

So here is the review for the new NARS weightless Luminous foundation! I couldn't wait to try it out for myself and actually loved the way it felt and how it set on the skin. However I still prefer the Sheer Glow. Its very thin compared to the other foundations and I feel that you have to build to make a thicker coverage. Nevertheless the light foundation gave my skin a dewy glow which is hard to achieve with some foundations. The best thing is that it comes with a pump instead of having to spill it out or having to buy a separate pump! I would personally recommend this for people who have dry to combination skin just because its not a matte finish!

Hope this video helps you decide if its the foundation for you!

How To Conceal Dark Circles

To cover up my dark circles has always been trouble for me because I've inherited them, making them so hard to reduce! I refrain from powders because they just never work for me making me look ashy and my face dry but heres a simple technique that my favourite makeup artist taught me, which covers them up so well and so quickly without them looking ashy!

For the product breakdown here are the products used:

Smashbox under eye primer
MAC Studio duo correct and conceal
NARS radiant concealer
Makeupforever concealer palette
Makeupforever HD translucent powder
Anastasia beverly hills contour kit- banana powder
MAC stippling brush (130)
MAC 287 brush
MAC 109 brush
MAC 227 brush

I hope this video helped anyone who wanted to cover their dark circles!

Cold Spring

I have been super busy for the past couple months & a (tad a bit lazy) which is why I haven't uploaded in a while but I've got some very exciting things lined up for 2015 and cannot wait! I thought I'd share a very simple yet stylish look with you guys!

I loved wearing black throughout the winter and now that Spring is merging through, I feel the need to add some colour alongside it. So here I've thrown on a very simply yet stylish look. A jersey turtle neck which is quite fitted compared to my other ones,  a pair of black jeans from Top shop which I adore as they are the only ones that sit on my ankles and a pair of strapped heeled sandals. I added a long camel coat which I hunted every where for, as I wanted a fitted one and everywhere I looked seemed to be the 'loose' or 'boyfriend' fits. To compliment the outfit I wore a checked Burberry heritage cashmere scarf which I brought from Bicester Village along with a Prada Tessuto Vit Daino Nero Tote which I also brought from Bicester. I feel with a very simple look a beautiful bag always compliments it. I didn't find the need to accessorise the outfit as i just wore my everyday jewellery which is a silver hand of Fatimah necklace that I received as a gift and a silver Swarovski bracelet.

This outfit is so easy to dress up or down as you can wear it with a pair of boots for an everyday look, a pair of slip ons or even a hat!

Zara Coat - £89.99
TopShop Joni Jeans - £40.00
Asos Heeled Sandals- £40.00
H&M Jersey Turte Neck - £7.99
Burberry Heritage Cashmere Scarf - £80.00
Prada Tessuto Vit Daino Nero Tote - £420.00
Swarovski Bracelet - £100.00

Hope you guys enjoyed this post x

Dark Pink Lipstick Dupe

Im not a MUA just a makeup fanatic! This is one of my first makeup related posts and I wanted to share with you guys one of my favourite lippy dupes I found. So in one of my pictures on Instagram I got a lot of feedback regarding the lip colour I was wearing. It was actually a mix of a Mac lipstick 'Mehr' and my new fave Sleek lip liner in 'Lingerie 294'. I tend to refrain from wearing my more higher end brands of makeup on an every day basis and try to find dupes so Im not wasting them. One of my fave dupes was the Sleek 'Eau la la' lip liner in 'Lingerie' which I find very similar to the Mac 'Soar' lip liner. The Sleek lip liner was £4.99 making it more than half the price of the Mac Lip Liner which was £12.50. However I actually prefer the Sleek one as it is water proof and smudge proof allowing it to stay on longer than the Mac one but is very annoying to sharpen as it has a plastic tip so can be easily damaged. Nevertheless, the Sleek lipliner was a winner for me.

Here I mixed the Mac 'Mehr' with the Sleek Lip liner 'Lingerie 294' (I probably wore more of the lipliner than I did of the lipstick)

Sleek 'Lingerie' Lip Liner - £4.99
Mac 'Soar' Lip Liner - £12.50
Mac Mehr - £15
I hope this helped ♥

Winter Warms

So winter is here and the best part about it is wrapping up! I love being able to layer up and wear all my coats. I love wearing turtle necks as they are super comfy and look great with anything! An ideal item for any winter look.

Here I wore a turtle neck jumper dress which is from H&M, I have also come across a few others in Zara and other stores. The feel of the jumper isn't the best as I have had softer and comfier ones but for the price it was good. This was the only colour that they had and probably the nicest as its a light beige brown so you can pair it up with anything. I wore it with a pair of tan tights as it was quite cold,  a long dark navy coat which is from Zara, a pair of black heeled boots also from Zara and a black Asos hand held bag which I purchased last year.

Zara Navy Coat - £79.99
H&M Turtle Neck Dress- £14.99
Zara Heeled Boots - £19.99
Black Asos Hand Held Bag - £39.99

Hope you've had a good week ♥
